Potential Solutions: Drill a new well and upgrade distribution system.
The proposed project will consist of the drilling of a water test well to determine the availability of an adequate water supply of potable water for the residents of Hardwick. If the test well is successful, a production well would be drilled to provide a new water source for the community. New storage facilities would also be needed. The distribution system would also include service to an additional 30 users now on private contaminated well water. This would bring the total number of users to a total of 50 connections.
